STILL & DAC HANDLING SOLUTIONS JOIN FORCES

STILL Materials Handling Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of STILL GmbH of Hamburg, Germany, is delighted to announce that with effect from 21st July 2008, DAC Handling Solutions Limited, its largest UK distributor, will be incorporated into its UK business operation. The combined business will trade under the name of STILL Materials Handling Limited.

Tom McCloy will step down as Managing Director of STILL Materials Handling on the same date. Tom will continue in an advisory role with STILL to help during the integration process before retiring towards the end of this year.

The position of UK Managing Director will be assumed by Nick Smith who joins the board from DAC Handling Solutions Limited.

Commenting on this milestone, Vincent Halma, Vice President, STILL GmbH said: “DAC Handling Solutions is our largest distributor in the UK and I am delighted that from 21st July it will be incorporated into the STILL family. This move further strengthens our business base in the UK and demonstrates STILL’s ongoing commitment to the UK market.”
